According to a survey carried out in 2022 among convenience store shoppers, 46 percent of respondents selected price and value as their most important factor when purchasing prepared foods at convenience stores in Canada. In contrast, 33 percent of respondents gave more importance to taste when purchasing prepared food at c-stores.
