In 2021, over half of surveyed Hungarians were of the opinion that it was inappropriate to start the reformation of the healthcare system in the middle of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. A further 17 percent of the respondents believed that the Hungarian healthcare system was already in such a bad state that it could not get any worse.
