According to Canada's latest survey into Bitcoin ownership, the number of women who owned the cryptocurrency had increased substantially. Now reaching an overall ownership of roughly four percent, this meant that slightly over one million Canadian women have some form of digital coin in their possession. No newer figures were available for 2020 or 2021: The period that the price of Bitcoin started the climb towards a value of 60,000 U.S. dollars.

As of early 2021, no newer version of the survey was available and no immediate outlook of when this arrives. Later reports refer to a "2019 Bitcoin Omnibus Survey" which is the same survey as listed here - "2019" there refers to the publication date, not the survey version.
