In 2020, a survey showed that Eurospin and Aldi were perceived as the most convenient in Italy, as 94 and 92 percent of Italian consumers were satisfied with the average prices of the two discount supermarkets. On the contrary, Carrefour Express registered a much lower satisfaction rate (only 62 percent).

The survey panel was composed as follows: 35% of respondents from Northwest, 29% from South and Islands, 20% from central regions and 16% from Northeast.
