In anticipation of Ramadan in 2021, 96 percent of respondents from the Middle East and North Africa will be buying grocery, food, and drink products during this month. This will be up from 56 percent compared to the rest of the year. At the same time 36 percent of respondents from the region have never ordered food during Ramadan. According to the study, the peak cooking time during Ramadan is from 1pm to 7pm.
This year, Ramadan is expected to start by April 13th and end on May 12th with the three day festival of Eid-ul-Fitr.
