As reported by a survey conducted in August 2020 among 800 consumers living in Taiwan, large shopping malls would be likely to experience the strongest growth in usage of cashless payments at 54 percent. Restaurants and chain convenience stores both expected a net increase of 45 percent, whereas delivery purchases, bill payments and supermarkets tied at 43 percent.
