Tencent Classroom user distribution during COVID-19 pandemic in China 2020, by age
During the outbreak of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and the related lockdown situation in February and March 2020 in China, the share of users aged 20 and below on the online education platform Tencent Classroom in China increased to 46.7 percent, from 28.3 percent in the preceding two months. The share of young people on the platform decreased slightly in the following months but remained comparatively high.
