According to a survey from 2021, more than one in three adults worldwide stated that their own race, ethnicity, or national origin has had an impact on their employment and education opportunities as well as access to social services and housing. 39 percent of the respondents agreed a lot or somewhat to having their employment opportunities impacted by their ethnic origin. The majority of respondents, however, were not impacted by this at all.
