Quarterly general government revenue in Libya 2019-2020
In the first quarter of 2020, the total public revenue in Libya declined to around 3.8 billion U.S. dollars, after a peak in the fourth quarter of 2019 at over 40 billion U.S. dollars. This dramatic decrease in revenues coincided with the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Previously, the first three quarters of 2019 saw a rapid increase in government revenues.
