In 2020, the newest revenue figures reported by listed online K-12 education companies indicated total revenues of about 15.6 billion yuan and losses of 5.4 billion yuan. Although revenues increased considerably in 2020 compared to the previous year, losses also grew by approximately 24.8 percent and reached comparatively high levels.
