The proportion of venture capital (VC) funding that went to startups with female founders only or at least one female founder globally didn't change significantly from 2011 to 2020. In 2020, startups with only female founders received two percent of global VC funding, while startups with both male and female cofounders received 9 percent of funding. In 2011, female-only founded companies and female/male cofounded companies received four percent and eight percent of global VC funding, respectively.
