Book market year-on-year revenue in Germany October 2024, by category and format

In October 2024, fiction books generated around 9.7 percent more revenue in Germany than the year before. Revenue of books for children and young adults only grew by around 2.1 compared to the previous year. The largest decrease in year-on-year revenue was recorded for audiobooks, with a loss in revenue of over 17 percent.
