Book market year-on-year revenue in Germany June 2024, by category and format

In June 2024, fiction books generated around 2.1 percent more revenue in Germany than the year before. Books for children and young adults even generated four percent more revenue. The largest decrease in year-on-year revenue was recorded for maps and globes, with a loss in revenue of over 18 percent.
