Between 2018 and 2019, only a limited percentage of the population in North Africa declared being interested in politics. Tunisia and Morocco were the countries with the highest share, corresponding to 24 percent each. On the other hand, only 19 percent of Algerians stated that they were interested or very interested in politics.
