Number of ATMs in Kenya 2019-2023
As of May 2023, Kenya had 2,291 automated teller machines in operation. The number of ATMs available in the country has been fluctuating in the period examined, with an overall decreasing tendency. In September 2020, 2,409 cash points were active. This reduction has been attributed to an increase in the preference among Kenyans to use agencies, internet banking, and mobile money.
