Sustainable tourism is a way of traveling that focuses on minimizing the harmful impacts of tourism on the natural environment. A global survey in 2020 revealed that Gen Z and millennial travelers are the generations that are the most concerned with the importance of choosing an environmentally-friendly travel option. In comparison, those from Gen X and the Baby Boomer generations were more neutral in their views regarding eco-friendly travel.
