Mexico: foodservice employment 2003-2018, by establishment type
In 2018, Mexico had almost 2.2 million people employed in the foodservice industry, an increase of approximately 37 percent in comparison to 2013. That year, restaurants accounted for nearly two million jobs, while night clubs, bars, and similar establishments employed roughly 123 thousand workers.
