Distribution of the regions of activity of surf instructors in France 2017
The vast majority of surf instructors taught in 2017 on the beaches of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Indeed, more than 80 percent of instructors reported teaching in this region during the year. Brittany was the second region of France with a little less than 15 percent of instructors exercising their activity on this territory. The Mediterranean coast, which is less favorable to waves, only had two percent of instructors. It should be noted that instructors can be active in several regions during the year.
