The installed power generation capacity of wind power in Japan was forecast to reach approximately 18 million kilowatts in 2033. Figures were estimated to triple, compared to around 5.6 million kilowatts in 2023. To reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the Japanese government is currently working on increasing the share of renewable energy sources in electricity generation.
