Perception of safety of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines in Europe in 2021

According to a survey conducted in 2021, 52 percent of respondents in Great Britain believed the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine was very safe, the highest share across selected countries in Europe. Furthermore, 40 percent of respondents in Spain consider the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to be very safe, while in France only 13 percent considered the COVID-19 vaccine to be very safe. Furthermore, 14 percent of French people considered the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to be very unsafe.
