Since the start of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, four percent of Canadian adults have received a diagnosis for an anxiety disorder, whereas 16 percent had been diagnosed prior to the outbreak. This statistic shows the percentage of Canadians diagnosed with a mood disorder before or since the COVID-19 outbreak, as of December 2020.
