The majority of food supplements users in Italy, as of 2019, were between 35 and 64 years of age. Almost 63 percent of supplements consumers in the country belonged to this age group.
Based on available data, it was possible to construct a profile of the average Italian food supplements user: she was a female between 35 and 64 years of age, she was from Southern Italy, and she held a high school diploma.
