The annual sugar confectionery consumption per capita in the PRC amounted to 1,410 grams in 2014 and dipped to 1,280 grams in 2019, representing a negative CAGR of approximately 1.9 percent. According to the source, this downward trend could be attributed to the increasing number of health-conscious consumers.
