As of 2020, the majority of parents and guardians of children aged 0 to 17 in Canada declared that they have savings for postsecondary studies. When looking at regional level, British Columbia was the region with the highest share of children with savings for their postsecondary education (74 percent). By contrast, Atlantic was the region with the lowest share (62 percent).
