According to a survey conducted on digital news in the Philippines in 2021, 37 percent of the respondents stated that they trusted the source of news that they used. In addition, 30 percent stated they trusted the news the news overall.
According to the source, data were obtained through online surveys. This will tend to represent younger and more affluent users which should be taken into consideration when interpreting results. In this sense, it will be better to interpret the results as a representative of the online population.
