Activities young people participated last year Australia 2023 by gender
In 2023, the Mission Australia youth survey found that just under 65 percent of young female Australians were involved in some form of participatory sport in the past year, compared to just over 72 percent of their male counterparts. Young Australians of diverse gender identities were reportedly most engaged in arts, cultural and music activities, at approximately 44 percent.
