Impact of COVID-19 on the supply chain sector in Japan 2020-2021
According to a survey conducted among supply chain executives in Japan between December 2020 and February 2021, 43 percent of the executives surveyed responded that their companies' revenue decreased due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Travel restrictions set in place to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus had likewise affected the movement of people and goods and, therefore, severely disrupted global supply chains.
