Attitude toward home buying in 2022, by generation
According to a December 2021 survey, around 34 percent of American adults felt better about their ability to buy a home in 2022 in comparison to 2021. Millennials had the most positive attitude, with 45 percent feeling more confident, compared to 25 percent feeling less confident. The survey did not take into account whether respondents were planning a home purchase or not.
