As of March 2021, the vast majority of Hungarians were of the opinion that getting infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19) posed a bigger threat than the side effects of the vaccine against the virus. Only 12 percent of respondents stated that the side effects of the vaccine were worse than actually getting infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19).
