In 2023, the trading value at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange amounted to about 194 trillion yuan, more than double the value in 2018. In 2015, the year of the stock market turbulence in China, the trading volume at the bourse in Shenzhen reached almost seven trillion shares with a trading value of over 136 trillion yuan.
