According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on online travel agencies (OTA) conducted in June 2023, 76 percent of respondents used a smartphone to access an OTA. Among the age group from 25 to 34 years, the share has been 78 percent. Tablet is the least used device across all age groups.
Online travel agencies are online platforms like Agoda, Skyscanner, Booking.com, or TripAdvisor that offer a wide range of tourism services.
