Greece: monthly electricity sales volume 2024

Greece sells an average of over 4.5 terawatt-hours of electricity on the day-ahead market every month. The volume of electricity sold in this country shows a seasonal cycle: while the sales of electricity peak in July and January every year, accounting for the use of cooling or heating residential facilities, they drop in the spring and fall months

In April 2024, renewables contributed the most to Greece's electricity sales volume mix.
