The oil and gas revenue in the federal budget of Russia accounted for nearly eight percent of the country's GDP in 2022. That marked an increase compared to the previous year, indicating the economy's higher dependency on energy resources. In total, oil and gas revenues contributed nearly 11.6 trillion Russian rubles to the federal budget in 2022.
