T-Mobile achieved the fastest average download speeds over 5G, in tests performed in five U.S. cities during 2020. T-Mobile's average download speed over the 5G network reached 83.8 megabits per second (Mbps) in the Washington - Arlington - Alexandria metropolitan region.
