Number of open banking third-party registrations in Europe Q4 2024, by country

As of December 2024, Germany led Europe with 35 home-regulated open banking third-party providers (TPPs), bringing its total to 199 TPPs. Sweden, France, and Poland followed Germany in home-regulated TPPs. The United Kingdom maintained its overall leadership with 208 total TPP registrations. At the other end of the spectrum, Iceland and Liechtenstein recorded the lowest numbers with just 115 and 108 registrations respectively.
