Verizon's investment in 5G spectrum purchased at auction reached at least 78.2 billion U.S. dollars, following the purchase of 3,511 licenses for 45.45 billion U.S. dollars at auction in 2021. Verizon Wireless purchased their licenses through Cellco Partnership and Verizon Wireless Network Procurement LP.
T-Mobile License LLC were the only entity to openly purchase licenses at each auction.
