China's share in global alcoholic beverage retail sales and consumption 2019
In 2019, China's alcoholic beverage retail sales totaled around nine trillion yuan, accounting for 12 percent of the global retail sales. Meanwhile, in terms of volume, Chinese consumers made up approximately 21 percent of global alcoholic beverage consumption.
