Motor vehicle imports to Argentina 2010-2023
Motor vehicle imports in Argentina plummeted in 2019 when compared to previous years, a drop which continued through 2023, despite a small increase in 2022. The South American country imported approximately 144,200 vehicles in 2023 – including passenger cars, trucks, and buses – the lowest figure reported in the decade. In comparison to the previous year, this represented a decrease of some 16.8 percent. Brazil was the leading country of origin for Argentine vehicle imports.
