5G will contribute a total of over 1.5 trillion U.S. dollars to gross domestic product (GDP) in the United States (U.S.) from 2021 to 2025. 5G will have the largest impact in California, with 5G expected to make an economic contribution of 253.2 billion U.S. dollars. New York is ranked second with 135.6 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Texas, which will add 130.5 billion U.S. dollars to the U.S. GDP from 5G.
