Spa facilities most looked forward to after COVID-19 in the UK 2020
The health and wellness industry was severely impacted during the coronavirus pandemic as gyms and spas were forced to close to avoid the general public mixing in large groups. Despite the close proximity to others that a spa visit requires, a survey of spa goers in the United Kingdom in 2020 suggested that many were eager to return to their health spas. Some 65 percent that they were looking forward to relaxing in a spa environment, while 45 percent stated that getting a massage was their top priority once the spas re-opened.
