In a survey conducted in 2020 in the Philippines, regarding travelers' travel plan close to home, almost 14 percent of the respondents stated that they would like to travel to Boracay once restrictions have been lifted. The same survey showed that more than half of the respondents in the country would like to travel to the beach. Boracay is known for its breathtaking beaches and resorts in the Philippines.
