Perception on bribery payment in Angola 2020
As of 2020, 49.4 percent of Angolans believed that bribery payment in Angola declined. On the other hand, 23.3 percent saw an increase in bribery, while 27.4 percent of respondeds believed the level of bribery payment did not experience any change. One of the main platforms of the current Angolan government is the fight against corruption. However, recent scandals envolving bribery schemes constituted one of the issues leading to popular protests in 2020.
