In a survey conducted in 2020 in the Philippines, regarding online and digital channels for contact-reduction during the current COVID-19 situation, 73 percent of respondents stated that they managed their travel bookings online directly with the establishments. The survey reveled that majority of travelers managed their bookings through direct online channels.
