The share of respondents who agree with the importance of prioritizing needs over wants after the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2020 was 92 percent in May during the month of Ramadan. Approximately 90 percent of respondents in the UAE and Saudi Arabia decreased their spending to prioritize needs over wants.
