In August 2020, a survey carried out in the United Kingdom (UK) found that 19 percent of the respondents were wearing their eyeglasses more since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Furthermore, 34 percent of Brits reported they had been wearing their contact lenses less often since the pandemic began.
