Oxxo: stores worldwide in 2017-2020
As of June 2020, there were over 19,500 OXXO convenience stores across Latin America, of which the majority were in Mexico. Oxxo is a brand of convenience stores owned by FEMSA (Fomento Económico Mexicano, S.A.B. de C.V), one of the largest companies in Mexico in terms of revenue. In that same year, the Mexican brand ranked amongst the leading food retailers in Latin America and positioned itself as one of the most valuable Mexican brands in 2020.
