Regarding the general elections scheduled for April 11, 2021 in Peru, a survey carried out in January of the same year revealed a strong willingness to vote among Peruvian citizens, even amidst the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. When asked whether they would turn out to vote on April 11, almost 60 percent of respondents answered affirmatively. Around 23 percent of respondents said the elections should be suspended until the second wave is over, while another 12 percent thought there should not be any elections in 2021.
