TV and radio was the largest source of royalty revenue for artists and creators in 2019, with around 37 percent of collections by copyright protection societies generated from such licensing agreements. Digital revenue represented around a fifth of total collections. In total, over 10 billion euros was collected by members of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) in 2019.
