Number of cattle in Kenya 2010-2020
As of 2020, Kenya's cattle stock reached 21.7 million heads. In the previous year, 20.9 million heads of cattle were kept for breeding or raised either for draft purposes or meat, eggs, and dairy production. By the same year, cattle and calves production in Kenya was valued at around 1.1 billion U.S. dollars.
