During the first seven months of 2020, the export value of the Italian manufacturing sector decreased by 14 percent compared to the previous year, while it experienced a slight growth in 2019. The exports of goods make up around four fifths of all exports from Italy, representing one of the most important income sources. In 2021 and 2022, exports from Italy are projected to grow again.
