Investment performance by asset type 2022

As of 2022, roughly one-third of survey respondents noted their expectations for private/illiquid credit were outperformed. Aside from hedge funds and liquid credit, the majority of asset classes presented well, either meeting or outperforming the expectations of institutional investors.
